As our name suggests, Prendergast Maguire Financial Services is an experienced partnership that knows a thing or two about helping people realise their hopes of home, peace-of-mind and prosperity.
They are big hopes to entrust to a faceless corporation, so it is important to have the impartial advise and personal support of a local intermediary like us, who can ensure they are being properly looked after.
That’s why, since setting up in 2006, we have been sitting down with our customers — either at their homes across north Wicklow or our office in Newtownmountkennedy.
We have an unrivalled knowledge of all the best investment plans, pensions, insurance policies and mortgages on the market. But we believe our biggest strength is our ability to get to know you and your needs.

When I'm not calling in on customers with forms to sign, I can be found walking up and down the Sugar Loaf with my wife Aoife, three kids and Timmy the dog. The family goldfish guards the home and, because it’s always named after the latest Anfield hero, it dreams of moving to a bowl with a more ambitious outlook.

Like Paul I got to know a lot of our clients while a sales manager for Royal Liver Assurance. A busy family life keeps me from becoming a personal finance geek, too. But as a more seasoned father of three, I prefer to take my walks on well-manicured golf courses. And being a Man Utd fan, you’re better off talking to me on a Monday morning.
